Hospice Georgian Triangle has begun construction on Campbell House, the new 6 bed Palliative Care Residence in Collingwood. This very important project will help to support and enrich the quality of life for those who are at the end stage of a terminal illness. The complete project, which includes land preparation, building construction, furnishings and start-up expenses is expected to cost $3.6 million. To-date $3 million has been committed and with the growing support of the community, Hospice expects to reach their goal.
Hospice is in need of equipment and furnishings to bring Campbell House to life, and has created a ‘Gift Registry’ of sorts for individuals to help support the project. You can make a difference with a purchase from the Wish List – items include cleaning supplies, garden equipment, furniture, staff training and more, and it’s as simple as shopping online for a wedding registry; just visit www.hospicegeorgiantriangle.com and follow the directions to make your selection.
This year please consider adding a gift for Campbell House to your shopping list. Palliative Care is something that touches everyone in some way, and your support for this integral local service is much needed.
Our team and our brokerage supports Hospice Georgian Triangle through initiatives like the upcoming 29th annual Royal LePage/Hospice Charity Ski Day.
